Field Trips

A major mission of Pumpkin Hollow since 1993 has been to educate children about farm life-about how pumpkins, animals, and other crops grow. We are amazed at how much information children “soak up” while they are having a wonderful day in our outdoor classroom.

Field Trips Include: (Schools only)

  • Visit the Silo Cinema
  • Friendly Forest if time permits
  • Free-One large jack-o-lantern pumpkin per class (Minimum group of 10)
  • Free-Small pumpkin per each paid student with Field trip.  (Many sizes and colors of pumpkins are available for purchase).
  • Free-2 teachers and/or aides admitted per 20 or more children
  • Farm animal tour
  • Antique farm equipment display
  • Visit baby chicken (or other fowl) display
  • Kids’ Barn
  • Interactive displays in barn
  • Grinding corn
  • Visit Gourd Trellis
  • Hayride
  • Catfish feeding if time permits

Admission $7.00 (groups of 10 or more). Please call or e-mail early for reservations.
