Pumpkin Hollow is the mid-south’s leading commercial grower of hard-shell
gourds. At the Pumpkin Hollow site are two huge gourd trellises where approximately a dozen varieties of gourds are growing. It is an amazing sight to see the extra long handled dipper gourds, Indonesian bottle gourds, short handled dipper gourds and others hanging from the tall “ceilings” of the trellises.
